What it’s like to use

This is a fixed-angle riser that lifts the laptop to roughly eye level (the listing quotes about 6 inches of lift) and leaves an open space for airflow. The slim design is easy to carry in a bag and sits stable on a desk.

Like all fixed risers, it does one job without adjustment. It also needs a separate keyboard and mouse so your hands are not reaching up to the raised laptop, which is the main thing to plan for with any stand.

Pros

Highest review count of any laptop stand here (about 49,000)
4.8★ rating at under $30
Slim, portable aluminium build
Open design for airflow

Cons

Fixed height and angle, with no adjustment
Needs a separate keyboard and mouse to be ergonomic
Only fits laptops up to 15.6 inches

Who it’s best for

Anyone who wants a proven, low-cost riser for a standard laptop.
